Legislations and rules

The contributions underlie several legislations and rules:

Content: Contributors, creators and other rights holders use, accept and agree irrevocably to be bound by the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike International Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0) approved for free cultural work (cf. Europeana Licensing Framework) to share original works of authorship and other content and materials subject to copyright and certain other rights specified in the public license, cf. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/

Metadata: The Digital Public Library of America Policy Statement on Metadata that make the cultural and scientific record available, free of charge, to all through databases of metadata, cf. http://dp.la/info/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DPLAMetadataPolicy.pdf

Contextual frame: DiKEViMA creates previews of the digital objects and links to them, i.e. reduced quality representations of multimedia objects copyrighted by the contributing institutions.

When uploading content and metadata, the contributor explicitly agrees with the applied licensing framework and accepts the removal of infringing, illegal or out of context content and metadata.
